The latest addition to the Gen4 HP Latex Family, the HP Latex 730 builds off of the success of the HP Latex 700 and adds the below new features.

HP's Pixel Control technology has been added to the HP Latex 730. Pixel Control enables smoother gradients and reproduces distinct shades of color without banding in lower pass print modes.

The previous model, HP Latex 700, had a total of 8 print heads with 5 separate part numbers. The previous print heads were as below:

• Black/Cyan
• Magenta/Yellow
• Lt Cyan/Lt Magenta
• Overcoat
• Optimizer

The HP Latex 730 still has a total of 8 print heads but now has a "Universal" print head replacing all but the Optimizer head.  This reduces inventory requirements to just 2 separate print head part numbers.

Automatic Double Sided Printing has been added to the HP Latex 730 printer.

A redesigned Maintenance cartridge allows for replacement of the waste ink container enabling for longer maintenance cartridge life.

The new output platen enables you to save media by printing from the leading edge without risk of head strikes.

Print speeds up to 334 ft2 per hour.
